The concept of starting a grocery delivery service came up when I moved from Bangalore to Jammu 8 years ago. Soon I realized, I had landed in a city which was a laggard as far as IT enabled service offering is concerned. Everything was just ‘offline’. No business in Jammu was and is available online and if available, the details mentioned are not validated. There and then this idea of having a technology enabled service provider which will provide a platform for all local merchants to connect with customers. 

My vision is to bridge the gap between customers and merchants through the use of latest technological tools. This will ensure the visibility of the businesses not only in Jammu alone but spread its wings globally.

I am  Nishit Sharma, Founder of asapgrocery. I am a engineer from a premier engineering institute in Jaipur. I have professional experience of 10+ years in various industry sectors such as IT, Banking, Insurance, Entrepreneurship and Healthcare. I did end up completing my PGDM 8 years after I graduated. 

Let’s hope to build a digital ecosystem in Jammu wherein all the stakeholders actively join the bandwagon and help in ease of life for all.
